Ship with containers

Overview

Two physical infrastructure running the docker engine. Each server is running different stack dedicated to one specific usage. Datas are stored on a remote network storage.

Pros

  • Stack isolation

Need

I wanted to host and tests some apps before publishing/use it on internet. The physical server hosting are light, small and silent. The solution must not consume a lot of ressources.

Cons

  • Processors of the physical servers are different
  • New way of managing Apps configuration

Results

  • 2 servers running docker
  • More than 10 concurrent stacks
  • Apps available on Internet
